Financial Planner

After almost 20 years in the IT industry, Brian Lewis re-entered the financial services arena (he began as a banker with the Bank of New South Wales in 1965). In 1993 he became an adviser for National Mutual Insurance and very quickly embarked on a course of study to attain the Diploma of Financial Planning through Deakin University and became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) in 1998.

Brian’s passion is to help his clients to define and achieve their financial goals over time by designing, implementing and reviewing strategies. There is nothing better than to develop a path for a client and seeing them delighted in the progress.

Financial Life Balance (FLB) is a comprehensive financial planning practice. It is located in the heart of Heidelberg but client’s come from all over the metropolitan area and beyond. Brian Lewis is one of four directors operating under authority from Charter Financial Planning, a Licensed Securities Dealer. Our motto is “Plan the Future – Live Today”, referring to the struggle that many of us have in balancing our future needs (e.g. retirement) with our day-to-day needs (mortgages, school fees, etc).
