 HWA Business Services is owned by Richard Alford and Cheryl Gaskin. Cheryl is the Managing Director and has been able to utilise her extensive experience with many different industries to provide HWA with a strong platform to support its many clients. Her majors at university were Local Government systems, Accounting and Human Resource Management. This background coupled with her work history means that clients are provided with solid back office support that incorporates the financials of the business while also managing the structure of the business and the people. Cheryl tells us that "Clients come on board primarily because they need a bookkeeper and then realise that by using HWA they get much more. Our goal is to support our clients' businesses and provide them with the knowledge that they don’t have to worry or even think about the day to day financial aspects of their business". Personally, Cheryl has two teenage children, loves cooking, photography and fine wines and has recently gained a Sports Trainers qualification.
